Russia is deploying its strategic reserves on the front lines and increasing the size of its forces

Russian forces are already deploying strategic reserves to conduct combat operations in Ukraine, which is leading to an increase in the size of the occupying forces on the front lines.

This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a conversation with journalists.

According to Zelenskyy, despite the significant losses inflicted on the Russian army each month by the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the Russian army continues to build up its presence in the occupied territories.

“In a month, we eliminate the same number of occupiers that they mobilize, but at the same time, the size of their force on Ukrainian territory is growing. That is, we believe that by drawing on military personnel from the strategic reserve, they are increasing their force,” the president noted.

The head of state reported that this issue has already been discussed with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi and Chief of the General Staff Andriy Hnatov regarding further countermeasures.

Zelenskyy also emphasized that the use of the strategic reserve weakens Russian positions in other areas, particularly near the borders with third countries, where the situation remains tense for Russia.

In addition, the president commented on Russian troops’ plans regarding the Donetsk region, noting that intentions to occupy Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk by the end of April are unrealistic.

According to him, these assessments are confirmed by data from allied intelligence, particularly British intelligence agencies.

Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian aviation struck seven areas where enemy forces were concentrated.
