Defense forces destroyed convoys carrying fuel for the occupiers near Luhansk – video
Ukrainian defenders carried out a successful strike on enemy logistics hubs, destroying tankers carrying petroleum products near the temporarily occupied city of Luhansk.
This was reported by the SBU, noting that the operation was conducted jointly with the First Separate Center for Unmanned Systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During reconnaissance, it was established that the enemy had stockpiled significant reserves of fuel at railway stations to supply its armored vehicles on the front lines.
The latest high-precision FP-2 drones from Fire Point were used for the attack. As a result of a series of strikes, not only did the fuel tankers catch fire, but the railway infrastructure also sustained significant damage, paralyzing the supply of resources in this area. The precise coordinates of the targets allowed for minimizing the time required to complete the mission and ensuring maximum damage to the invaders’ military facilities.

The systematic destruction of enemy fuel and lubricant depots is part of a strategy to wear down the aggressor, making it impossible for Russia to conduct large-scale offensive operations. While the Russian command attempts to patch up gaps in its logistics using outdated methods, Ukraine is implementing technological solutions that allow for high-precision strikes deep into enemy territory. Such successful operations by the Defense Forces bring the de-occupation of Ukrainian territories closer and demonstrate the growing power of domestic unmanned systems.
In the Russian city of Tuapse in the Krasnodar Krai, explosions were heard on the night of April 16 amid a drone attack. The strikes may have targeted the storage tanks of the Tuapse Oil Refinery, which is owned by Rosneft.
As a reminder, on the morning of April 15, Ukrainian “Lyuty” strike drones attacked a petrochemical plant in the city of Sterlitamak, located in the Republic of Bashkortostan, Russian Federation.
