A rescue worker and his 8-year-old son were killed during an attack on a gas station in the Dnipropetrovsk region
On August 3, during a Russian attack by an enemy drone on a gas station in the Shyrokyivska community in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Kherson rescue worker Eduard Razlog and his 8-year-old son Maksym were killed. At the time of the attack, Razlog was on vacation.
Eduard Razlog served as a senior firefighter and rescue worker at the 7th State Fire and Rescue Unit of the 2nd Brigade of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kherson region, where he had been stationed since May 2024. His colleagues remember him as a courageous, responsible, and kind-hearted professional, and the State Emergency Service family has expressed its deepest condolences to the loved ones of the deceased.
His son, 8-year-old Maksym, played soccer at the “Kryvbas” Academy. According to his coach, just the day before the tragedy, the boy took the field during practice and scored two goals, after which his father picked him up. A few minutes later, both were killed when a Russian drone struck the gas station.

On August 3, Russian troops attacked a gas station in the Shyroke community of the Kryvyi Rih district in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with a “Shahed”-type jet-powered drone. Three people were killed in the strike, including an 8-year-old child. Five more people were injured.
The Kharkiv region came under attack from enemy drones. Fires broke out in several districts at once, which have already been extinguished by Ukrainian rescue workers.
