The United States has informed Russia of the results of the talks with Ukraine in Florida
Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov stated that the U.S. side had provided the Kremlin with a detailed briefing on the results of recent consultations between the United States and Ukraine.
The bilateral talks, which took place last Saturday in Florida, were focused on finding diplomatic ways to end the war.
According to the Russian official, Moscow now has a full understanding of the current state of the negotiation process and the position of the Ukrainian delegation.
This exchange of information took place as part of Washington’s intensified mediation efforts to resolve the conflict.
“Talks took place in Florida last Saturday with the Ukrainian delegation. They held talks, briefed us in detail on the results, and we know where we stand now,” Yury Ushakov told reporters.
It should be noted that following the talks in the U.S., there has been no real progress toward peace.
Additionally, during a UN Security Council meeting, Beijing officially expressed its position on the need for a political settlement of the war in Ukraine.
