Ukraine is strengthening security cooperation with countries under attack by Iran — Zelenskyy

Ukraine continues to expand its participation in international security forums and is cooperating with countries that are under attack by the Iranian regime.

This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to him, new agreements have been reached that will strengthen Ukraine’s presence in security initiatives and also promote the development of exports and defense capabilities.

The President noted that Defense Minister Rustem Umerov will soon present a detailed report on cooperation with countries in the region—from the Gulf states to Turkey.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga took part in an international discussion on the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, particularly regarding threats to freedom of navigation.

Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine has significant experience in protecting maritime routes and is ready to share its expertise with partners to strengthen global security.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia’s massive attack on April 1 was a response to Ukraine’s initiative for a ceasefire on Easter.

On Wednesday, April 1, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held strategically important talks with key representatives of the U.S. administration—Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
