Ukraine has lifted its travel advisory against visiting Hungary

The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has officially lifted its travel advisory urging citizens to refrain from traveling to Hungary.

This decision was made immediately after the conclusion of the parliamentary elections in the neighboring country, as announced by Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga.

The head of the foreign ministry explained that the election process, which was accompanied by numerous manipulations regarding Ukraine, has now concluded.

As a result, the risks of provocations against Ukrainians—which had previously forced the ministry to impose restrictions—have significantly decreased and lost their former urgency.

Kyiv views the results of the Hungarian vote as an opportunity to reset and normalize bilateral relations.

According to the minister, Ukraine is demonstrating full readiness for constructive cooperation to achieve stability in the region and restore mutual trust.

Andriy Sybiga emphasized that the Hungarian people’s choice demonstrated their neighbors’ desire to live in an independent country that is part of a free Europe.

He noted that voters rejected the policy of intimidation and Moscow’s sphere of influence, choosing the path of security, prosperity, and a truly European future.

The minister paid special attention to the defeat of anti-Ukrainian propaganda and blackmail tactics, which had dominated Hungary’s media landscape in recent times.

“Hungarians have made it clear: enough is enough,” Sibiga remarked, predicting similar consequences for other European movements with similar rhetoric.

Hungary will return Oschadbank’s cars empty and has set a condition regarding money and gold

The deputy chairman of Oschadbank’s board was suspended due to the announced suspicion.

Meanwhile, in Bukovina, the first mobile branch of Oschadbank in western Ukraine will begin operations, providing banking services to residents of remote communities. The so-called “bank on wheels” will allow people to access necessary financial services without having to travel to cities.

A National Bank team traveled to Budapest following the detention of Oschadbank employees.

Oschadbank has calculated how much money was in the cash-in-transit vehicles stolen by Hungary.
