Foreign grain ships damaged in strike on port in Odesa region
Overnight on March 20, Russian forces carried out a drone attack on a port in the Odesa region. As a result of the strike, two civilian commercial vessels flying the flags of Palau and Barbados were damaged. The ships were carrying grain.
This was reported, citing Telegram posts by Odesa Regional Military Administration head Oleh Kiper and Deputy Prime Minister Oleksii Kuleba.
The vessels were moored at berths and loaded with grain. Despite the damage, they remain afloat.

In addition, a grain silo and port equipment were damaged. Fires were promptly extinguished.
Emergency services are continuing efforts to deal with the aftermath of the attack. Law enforcement agencies are documenting further war crimes committed by Russian forces.
Large-scale environmental damage was also recorded along the Odesa region’s coastline.
