Since 2022, Russian occupiers have lost 1.35 million soldiers on the front – General Staff
The Ukrainian Defense Forces reported that, as of May 18, Russia’s total combat losses since the start of the full-scale invasion amount to approximately 1,350,010 troops. According to their data, another 1,220 invaders have been eliminated over the past 24 hours. Statistics on equipment losses, including tanks, artillery, and armored combat vehicles, have also been updated.

The enemy’s total combat losses from February 24, 2022, to May 18, 2026, are estimated at:

On the night of May 17, a number of Russian military-industrial complex and energy facilities were struck in Moscow and the Moscow region. Strikes were carried out on an oil depot in Durikino, an oil refinery in Kapotnya, the Angstrom microelectronics plant, and the Raduga Design Bureau, which develops cruise missiles.
On the morning of May 16, Moscow also came under attack by drones, causing airports in the Russian capital to temporarily suspend operations.
The “ATESH” partisan movement claimed responsibility for a sabotage operation in the Moscow region, which disrupted the functioning of elements of the Russian air defense system on the outskirts of the capital.
