Aston Martin has unveiled the limited-edition Valen supercar with 838-sylny power
Aston Martin unveiled its new Valen supercar at Monterey Car Week, created by its bespoke division, Q. The company claims that the 838-k. s. model is the world’s most powerful production front-engine car.
The Valen is equipped with a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 and an eight-speed ZF transmission. The gearshift logic and transmission software are based on solutions used in the Aston Martin Vantage GT4 race cars. According to the manufacturer, the car accelerates from 0 to 62 miles per hour in 3.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 214 miles per hour.
The model is the third in the Q line of exclusive V12 cars, following the Valour and Valiant, which were equipped with six-speed manual transmissions. The Valen’s power output is 104 k. s. greater than that of the Valiant and 14 k. s. higher than that of the Vanquish.

The body of the new model is made entirely of carbon fiber. The car has no rear window; its design features exposed 325-mm-wide rear tires, an aggressive diffuser, and four exhaust tips. According to Aston Martin, the Valen can be up to 110 kg lighter than the base V12 platform on which the Vanquish is built. This figure includes a weight reduction of 16.9 kg achieved through an optional lightweight suspension package featuring aluminum control arms and steering knuckles, as well as titanium chassis bolts.
The supercar features 21-inch magnesium wheels, carbon-ceramic brakes, and a titanium exhaust system. The manufacturer claims that, based on external measurements, it is 50% louder than the Vanquish’s exhaust system. The exhaust is routed under and behind the driver’s and passenger’s seats, with the tailpipes exiting under the bumper and in the center of the rear section.
Aston Martin will produce 150 Valen models, all of which will be custom-ordered. The company estimates the starting price at approximately $2 million, excluding additional Q options.
