Mitsubishi has not announced a production Pajero Ralliart
Mitsubishi has unveiled the Pajero Rally Concept in red Ralliart livery but has not announced a specific project for a production Pajero Ralliart version. Mitsubishi Chief Product Specialist Kunitoshi Itagaki said that the company is only exploring the possibility of such a model, Motor1 reports.
Concept in Ralliart style
The Pajero Rally Concept was shown alongside a replica of the Triton ASXR rally car. The concept received a bright red Ralliart-style livery and is intended to recall Pajero's participation in the Dakar Rally, where the model achieved 12 overall victories.
According to Itagaki, Mitsubishi currently has no specific Ralliart project or model that it could announce. He also stressed the importance of the Ralliart division's heritage for the brand.

Accessories for the standard Pajero
The concept does not differ from the standard Pajero with a new chassis or engine. Its features include front and rear fender extensions, a special trim piece on the rear body pillar, red underbody protection plates, and a snorkel. Mitsubishi is considering offering similar elements as official accessories for the production SUV.
The new Pajero is built on a ladder-frame platform related to the Mitsubishi Triton. The model is stated to have a 2.4-liter turbodiesel producing 201 hp and 480 Nm of torque, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and Super Select 4WD II all-wheel drive. The global premiere of the fully updated Pajero took place on September 2, 2026. The model's first launch is planned in Thailand, followed by Japan and Australia during the 2026 fiscal year.
