Near the Palats Ukraina metro station, a BMW crashed into a terrace and overturned
A traffic accident involving two BMWs occurred in Kyiv. After the collision, one of the cars flew onto a restaurant’s outdoor terrace and overturned, while the other crashed into the building. The 36-year-old driver was injured in the accident.
The accident occurred on August 17 at around 11:30 a.m. on Velyka Vasylkivska Street in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv. The crash took place near the “Palats Ukraina” metro station. According to preliminary police reports, two BMWs collided. The impact was so severe that one of the cars veered onto the restaurant’s outdoor terrace.
The car overturned right on the terrace. The other car crashed into the building after the collision. Patrol officers and an investigative team from the Kyiv Police Department, which specializes in investigating traffic accidents, are working at the scene.
One driver was taken to the hospital
The 36-year-old driver of one of the cars was injured in the accident. He was hospitalized. According to police, the man is in satisfactory condition. There is currently no information about other victims.
