A lawmaker with no real estate, but whose family owns luxury penthouses: what is known about Georgy Yasinsky
The financial disclosure statement of Kyiv City Council member Heorhiy Yasinsky does not list any real estate owned by him. At the same time, public records show that his mother, Olena Yasinska, owns a substantial portfolio of real estate, including luxury apartments in central Kyiv, land parcels, and a construction business.
According to the declaration, the council member uses a 115-square-meter apartment free of charge but does not declare any residential property of his own.
According to public registries, Olena Yasinska owns at least three apartments in the New York Concept House residential complex on Antonovycha Street in Kyiv. One of these properties is a two-level penthouse with a private terrace, a jacuzzi, and a panoramic view of the capital’s city center.

The apartments are advertised on international booking platforms, where the daily rate reaches 611 euros, and the long-term rental rate is approximately 6,880 euros per month. In addition, the penthouse is promoted on social media as premium housing with private rooftop terraces.

Olena Yasinska is also registered as a sole proprietor with the business activity “Leasing and management of owned or leased real estate.” According to official reports, her income from rental activities in 2025 amounted to 637 thousand UAH.

At the same time, based on the published rental rates, the potential annual revenue from such a property could be significantly higher. For example, at an average rate of 15,000 UAH per day and an occupancy rate of just 15 days per month, potential revenue would exceed 2.7 million UAH. Based on these calculations, the officially declared income corresponds to approximately 42–43 days of rental per year.

In addition to apartments in the capital, public registries list three land plots in the Bucha district, a house and land in the Zhytomyr region, and other real estate properties under Olena Yasinska’s name. Some of the land is leased out.

She is also the founder and ultimate beneficial owner of the construction company M16 LLC, with a registered capital of 5 million UAH. According to the registries, the company is associated with real estate properties in the Pechersk district of Kyiv.

The mere fact of owning real estate or conducting business activities does not constitute a violation of the law. At the same time, the ratio of declared income from the rental business to the potential turnover of properties leased at market rates may be subject to scrutiny by the relevant authorities.
