Roshen Factory Begins Reconstruction Following Shelling
Work has begun in Kyiv’s Holosiivskyi district on the reconstruction of the main building of the Roshen confectionery factory, which was damaged by an enemy attack.
This building has historic heritage status, which requires a special approach to the restoration work.
The facility sustained damage during the massive shelling of Kyiv by Russian forces on the night of January 24.
The brunt of the attack fell on the upper floors of the building, where both production and office spaces are located.
At the time, State Emergency Service rescuers confirmed that the building had been hit and that its structures had been destroyed.
The tragedy claimed the life of one person, and two others sustained injuries of varying severity.
Currently, construction workers have already begun dismantling damaged elements and preparing for the restoration of the facade. The reconstruction project calls for the complete restoration of the building’s original appearance.
As a reminder, Roshen announced what would happen to product prices following the warehouse’s destruction.
Also, a Roshen warehouse is on fire in the Kyiv region following a drone attack.
