Kirilo Fesyk, Head of the Obolon District State Administration, is stepping down
On August 3, Kirilo Fesik, head of the Obolon District State Administration in Kyiv, will step down from his post after six years of service. It has not yet been announced where exactly he will be moving to.
According to Fesik, he has already begun all the necessary official procedures related to his transition to a new position, which he promises to announce at a later date.
“I have never clung to this position. Therefore, my future career path is a logical continuation of the work we have done together all these years. It is a great honor for me to remain a member of the president’s team and to continue working for the good of Ukraine,” wrote the district head.
Fesyk emphasized that his tenure was one of the longest among district heads in Kyiv’s modern history. In his statement, he thanked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for his trust and also expressed gratitude to the district administration team, city officials, partners, and the residents of Obolon for their collaboration and feedback.
“I did everything I could with the resources I had. And I’m confident that over the years we’ve managed to accomplish a great deal. A little later, I’ll definitely prepare a separate summary post in which I’ll highlight the results of our joint efforts,” he added.
Exactly where the official is moving to work has not yet been disclosed, but some media outlets report that the most likely appointment awaiting him is as head of the Kyiv Military Administration, replacing Timur Tkachenko.
