July in Kyiv turned out to be colder than normal
According to data from the Boris Sreznevsky Central Geophysical Observatory, the average monthly air temperature in Kyiv in July was 20.8°C, which is 0.5°C below the climatological norm.
The coldest day of the month was recorded in the early morning of July 9, when the temperature dropped to 11.4°C, while the hottest day was July 2, with a high of 31.9°C.
In addition, July was exceptionally dry: only 28 mm of precipitation fell on Nauky Avenue (41% of the monthly average). This allowed July to rank among the ten driest months on record in the capital.

The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center warned of temperatures up to 38° and a fire hazard.
