Prime Minister Koretsky called on the Kyiv authorities to speed up the installation of shelters

Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi called on the capital’s authorities to immediately speed up the installation of additional mobile shelters following yet another attack on Kyiv. 

As a result of this morning’s shelling by Russia, two people were killed and nearly 20 residents were injured. The strikes targeted exclusively civilian infrastructure, including office buildings, grocery stores, a transportation facility, and a gas station in the Darnytskyi district.

The head of government emphasized the need to step up efforts to ensure the safety of city residents and thanked the emergency services. Approximately 100 rescue workers and 20 pieces of equipment were deployed to extinguish the fires and address the aftermath.

On the morning of September 23, Russia launched a massive attack on Kyiv using strike drones. Hits and falling debris were reported in several districts of the capital; fires broke out, and there is one fatality and several injured. As of 12:45 p.m., the attack was ongoing.

In addition, a Ukrnafta gas station in Kyiv was completely destroyed following the Russian attack.
