The number of casualties in Kyiv following the Russian attack on the night of July 19 has risen. According to updated figures, 15 people were injured.
Rescue workers continue to deal with the aftermath of the shelling. In the Shevchenkivskyi district, they have contained fires in non-residential buildings and open areas, while in the Solomianskyi district, work is ongoing at the site of damage to a five-story residential building.
In the Desnianskyi district and at one location in the Solomyanskyi district, the fires have already been extinguished.
Earlier reports indicated that one person was killed as a result of a Russian ballistic strike on the capital. Details regarding the consequences of the attack are still being clarified.

On the night of July 19, Russian forces launched a ballistic strike on Kyiv. One person was killed and eight others were injured as a result of the attack. Damage and fires were reported in five districts of the capital.
Throughout the day on July 17, Russian forces launched strikes on Kharkiv and 29 other settlements in the Kharkiv region. Two people were killed and 18 others were injured in the shelling; among the victims were five children.
Throughout the day on July 17, the Chernihiv region came under attack from enemy drones. Fires broke out in several districts at once, but Ukrainian rescue workers have already extinguished them.
