In the Kyiv region, a man threw a training grenade at a municipal utility
In the village of Kotsyubynske in the Bucha District, a 48-year-old man threw a training grenade into the premises of a municipal utility company following a dispute with employees over utility bills. No one was injured in the incident.
The incident occurred on August 6 at approximately 1:20 p.m.
According to law enforcement officials, a local resident came to the utility company, where he got into a dispute with employees over utility bills.
During the argument, the man threw a training grenade into an office in the administrative building.
Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the incident.
Following the incident, an investigative team from the Bucha District Police Department and patrol officers arrived at the scene.
Investigators have launched a pre-trial investigation under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine—hooliganism involving the use of a weapon or other object specially adapted or prepared in advance to cause bodily harm.
The investigation is currently ongoing, and law enforcement officials are establishing all the circumstances of the incident.

Earlier, in the city of Podilsk, Odesa Oblast, a 51-year-old military serviceman on reserve duty, while intoxicated, threw a grenade at a group of teenagers near a local high school. Prior to this, the man had provoked a conflict, used profanity, and threatened others with an explosive device.
Earlier, in the city of Storozhynets, Chernivtsi Oblast, a man was detained after throwing a live grenade at police officers.
As a reminder, on the night of February 13, in the town of Vynogradiv, Zakarpattia Oblast, an explosion occurred on the grounds of a private residence where the family of a local police operations unit officer lives.
