Security at gas stations in the Kyiv region will be stepped up due to the threat of shelling
In the Kyiv region, new safety regulations for gas stations are being developed to address military risks. The relevant measures were discussed during a meeting attended by government officials and gas station operators.
Plans include introducing automated air raid warning systems, updating protocols for employees to follow after a danger signal, and improving coordination among emergency services in the event of an emergency.
Separately, officials are addressing the issue of abandoned vehicles on gas station premises, which can hinder the evacuation of people, the work of rescue workers, and the passage of emergency vehicles. This issue is scheduled to be brought before the Kyiv Region Defense Council.
Additionally, shelters are planned to be built near gas stations located far from existing protective structures.

In Dnipro on Friday, August 7, a World Health Organization humanitarian warehouse was destroyed as a result of an attack. At the time of the strike, there were no people on the premises, and no casualties were reported.
