Shevchenko National University of Kyiv was damaged during the attack on Kyiv
As a result of the Russian shelling of Kyiv on the night of July 6, an academic building and a dormitory at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv were damaged.
Windows and doors were shattered in the Institute of Postgraduate Education building, and the dormitory was also damaged. According to preliminary reports, other university facilities were not affected.
Valerii Kopiika, acting rector of KNU, reported that after the attack, university staff promptly began cleaning up the damage. The “Rokada” Charitable Foundation and UNHCR also provided materials to help with the temporary repair of the damaged windows.

As a reminder, seven people were killed as a result of a massive strike on Kyiv.
Earlier, Zelenskyy warned that Russia was preparing a new massive strike.
We also recall that the Russians last launched a massive attack on Ukraine on the night of July 2. At that time, Russian forces launched 496 UAVs of various types and 74 missiles—air-, ground-, and sea-based—of various types at Ukraine.
