Russia has once again destroyed the “Zavertaylo” pub: a well-known establishment near St. Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv was damaged as a result of the attack
The Russian attack on Kyiv on September 4 damaged the "Zavertaylo" bakery, located near St. Sophia Cathedral.
Stanislav Zavertaylo reported this.
“Russia has destroyed our establishment again. This time, it’s ‘Zavertaylo’ near St. Sophia Cathedral. I don’t know what else to say. I’m heading there now; I’m most worried about the guests and the team,” he wrote.
The establishment is located at 24a Volodymyrska Street, near St. Sophia Cathedral. The bakery opened in 2023 and became the second “Zavertaylo” location in Kyiv.
Information about the consequences of the strike and possible casualties is still being confirmed.
At the same time, damage to civilian infrastructure was reported in Kyiv as a result of this morning’s Russian attack. According to city authorities, a woman was injured in the Holosiivskyi district, and a fire broke out on the grounds of a non-residential building in the Solomianskyi district.
This is not the first time the “Zavertaylo” chain has experienced damage from Russian attacks. Earlier, in August 2025, Russian missiles nearly completely destroyed a building near the Honey restaurant on Zhylyanska Street in Kyiv.
