Andriy Tkachov has been appointed acting head of the Kyiv City Military Administration

Andriy Tkachov has been appointed acting head of the Kyiv City Military Administration. 

Prior to this appointment, he served as first deputy to the former head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko. Previously, Tkachov worked on police reform, headed the Department of State Control at Ukrtransbezpeka, and in 2022 voluntarily joined the ranks of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Timur Tkachenko from his position as head of the Kyiv City Military Administration. The corresponding decree was published on the President’s website on Thursday, July 16.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy established the Southern Ukrainian City Military Administration in the Mykolaiv region and appointed Ivan Kukhta as its head. The decision was formalized by a decree and is accompanied by personnel changes within the region’s military administration system.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced plans for personnel changes in the Cabinet of Ministers and the leadership of law enforcement agencies, which are intended to ensure the implementation of the state’s updated political strategy.
