Water rates for Kyiv residents will not be raised to nearly 90 hryvnias per cubic meter
The water supply and wastewater disposal rate of nearly 90 UAH per cubic meter will not currently apply to Kyiv residents. This is an economically justified rate calculated by PJSC “AK ‘Kyivvodokanal’.”
However, the city has not approved the proposed calculation, so the rate will not be raised to that level.
For Kyiv residents, the cost of centralized water supply and wastewater services will be 63.79 UAH per cubic meter.
This rate was approved by the National Commission for State Regulation in the Spheres of Energy and Public Utilities back in 2024.
Thus, taking into account the average cold water consumption in Kyiv, the water bill for a family of three will increase by 200–300 UAH.
This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration.
