Gas networks have been damaged in four districts of Kyiv as a result of an attack by the Russian Federation

As a result of yet another massive attack by the aggressor country on Kyiv, residential buildings and the gas networks serving them were damaged in four districts of the capital. Because of this, emergency services have temporarily suspended gas supply to some of the buildings.

According to the company, damage was reported in the Holosiivskyi, Darnytskyi, Podilskyi, and Obolonskyi districts. The damage was caused by direct hits or falling debris from Russian missiles and drones.

To ensure the safety of residents, Kyivgaz’s emergency repair crews have temporarily suspended gas distribution to the damaged gas-served buildings.

Specialists are currently continuing to address the aftermath of the shelling and inspect the damaged networks. Once repair work is completed and the safety of the gas supply systems has been verified, gas service will be restored.

Kyivgaz noted that information about the consequences of the attack is constantly being updated and urged residents to remain calm and be understanding of the temporary restrictions.

This was reported on Facebook by the press service of Kyivgaz JSC.

As a reminder, the death toll from the Russian strike on the Kyiv region on July 6 has risen to six people.

Additionally, Russian troops attacked Zaporizhzhia with strike drones. One woman was killed in the attack, and 10 others were injured, including a child.
