Traffic will be restricted in Kyiv for four days
On August 22, it was announced that temporary traffic restrictions would be in effect in Kyiv from August 22 to 25 due to security measures involving foreign delegations.
This was announced by Oleksiy Biloshitsky, head of the Patrol Police Department.
“Attention Kyiv residents and visitors: From August 23–25, 2026, temporary traffic restrictions will be in effect in Kyiv due to security measures involving foreign delegations,” the statement reads.
According to Biloshitsky, the restrictions will be in effect:
- in the central part of the city;
- and in certain areas of the Pecherskyi, Podilskyi, Solomyanskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi districts.
“We ask for your understanding and ask that you take this into account when planning your routes,” he concluded.
Earlier, the German foreign minister arrived in Kyiv.
