Muslims in Kyiv are celebrating Eid al-Adha
In Kyiv, the mosque affiliated with the Association of Muslims of Ukraine is celebrating Eid al-Adha—one of the most important Muslim holidays.

The celebration began with morning prayers, after which guests were treated to pilaf and Middle Eastern delicacies. Throughout the day, festive events, a fair featuring Crimean Tatar crafts, children’s activities, and competitions in the traditional wrestling sport of kuresh are taking place on the mosque grounds.
The Mufti of Crimean Muslims, Ayder Rustemov, emphasized that due to the Russian occupation of Crimea, many Crimean Tatars have been celebrating this holiday far from their homes for years.
