Businesses in Kyiv and the surrounding region may receive up to 30 million hryvnia in compensation for damaged property

Businesses in Kyiv and the Kyiv region that have been affected by Russian attacks are eligible for government financial assistance programs, including compensation of up to 30 million hryvnias for damaged or destroyed property.

This was reported by the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine.

Among the main support tools are grants for the restoration of manufacturing enterprises in the processing industry. Under this program, businesses can receive up to 16 million UAH, with the state covering up to 80% of the project cost.

There is also a program to compensate for losses from war risks, which provides up to 30 million UAH for damaged or destroyed property, as well as partial coverage of war risk insurance costs—up to 3 million UAH.

For companies that were forced to temporarily suspend operations due to shelling or relocation, the “Point of Support” program is available. It provides compensation for a portion of employees’ salaries and the unified social tax during downtime.

According to Deputy Minister Taras Vysotsky, a clear procedure for obtaining assistance has already been developed for businesses in Kyiv and the region.

The state-run “eOselya” program dominates the market and leaves no room for the development of market-based mortgages.

The National Bank of Ukraine has announced a change in approach to implementing the “eOselya” program, which supports mortgage lending to citizens. The new mechanism is planned to be introduced in early 2026.
