In Kyiv's Poznyaki district, a dispute between companies ended in gunfire
In the Darnytskyi district of the capital, a domestic dispute near an apartment building on Dragomanova Street escalated into an armed confrontation.
This was reported by the police.
The conflict between two groups of vacationers ended with the use of non-lethal firearms.
The incident occurred in the middle of the day when a verbal altercation broke out between the opponents, which quickly turned into physical aggression. One of the participants in the dispute decided to use a radical argument to prove his point.
“A 33-year-old local resident fired several shots from a weapon. There were no casualties as a result of the incident. Law enforcement officers detained the shooter in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and seized the weapon used in the crime—a device for firing rubber bullets,” the Kyiv police reported.
Thanks to the timely intervention of law enforcement officers and witnesses, no casualties were reported. The bullets fired from the non-lethal pistol did not hit any bystanders or the shooter’s opponents.
A woman was detained in Obolon for setting fire to the doors of acquaintances.
Earlier, the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office filed an indictment against a family doctor who, for $6,000, promised to arrange a disability classification so that a conscript could travel abroad.
