Traffic has been fully restored on previously closed streets in Kyiv
Traffic has been fully restored on a number of streets in the Ukrainian capital that had been temporarily closed on the morning of May 24.
This was announced by Oleksiy Biloshitsky, First Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department.
According to him, traffic has resumed on Yuri Illenko Street—from the intersection with Dovnar-Zapolsky Street to the intersection with Hlybochytska Street.
Traffic has also resumed on Dehtiarivska Street—from the intersection with Zoologichna Street to the intersection with Yuri Illenko Street—as well as on Biloruska Street—from Dovnar-Zapolskyi Street to Dehtiarivska Street.
In addition, traffic has resumed on the Havanskyi Bridge in both directions, as well as on Zroshuvala Street—from the intersection with Akademika Gorbunova Street.
In Kyiv, traffic on the South Bridge will be partially restricted from May 26 to 29. According to Kyivavtodor, repairs to the asphalt concrete pavement will be carried out on the Right Bank Overpass from the Korchuvate side in the direction from the right to the left bank of the Dnipro.
On May 26, traffic on Naberezhne Highway in Kyiv will be partially restricted.
Within 20 hours, a petition calling for a ban on raising fares on Kyiv’s publictransportation had gathered signatures.
