Air defense systems are active in Kyiv: a Russian drone crashed near a five-story building
In the Svyatoshynsky district of the capital, a drone or its debris fell near a five-story building. Emergency services are heading to the scene.
On the morning of September 1, during another air raid alert in Kyiv, a series of loud noises was heard. Air defense forces are operating in the capital.
An air raid alert was declared in the city and region at 9:49 a.m. due to the threat of Russian drones. By 10:25 a.m., the Ukrainian Air Force warned of an increased danger: “A jet-powered UAV is over Kyiv; take cover.”
Shortly thereafter, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that a drone had crashed in the Svyatoshynsky district.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 1,600 Russian occupiers over the past 24 hours.
