Artemiy Lebedev's second confiscated apartment is being sold in Kyiv
The State Property Fund of Ukraine has put another confiscated apartment belonging to Russian propagandist and designer Artemy Lebedev up for auction. The auction will take place on July 20 on the Prozorro.Sales platform, and the starting price for the apartment is over 7 million hryvnias.
This is Lebedev’s second apartment to be confiscated following a Ukrainian court ruling. His other apartment in central Kyiv was previously sold at a public auction. The State Property Fund reported that this time, a two-level apartment with an area of 193.2 square meters has been put up for sale. It is located on Saksahanskoho Street in Kyiv.
The starting price for the lot is 7.075 million hryvnias. The auction is scheduled for July 20, and bidding will take place through the Prozorro.Sales system. According to the State Property Fund, the apartment has two levels. The first level features an entryway, a spacious living room, two offices, a kitchen, two bathrooms, three balconies, and a storage room.
The second level features another study, a bedroom, and a storage room. The apartment’s living area is 40 square meters. The listing states that the condition of the apartment is rated as satisfactory.
The Fund also noted that this apartment was not registered directly in Artemiy Lebedev’s name, but in the name of his friend. As a reminder, both of the Russian propagandist’s Kyiv apartments were confiscated in 2023 by court order. Earlier, in January 2022, Artemiy Lebedev was placed on the NSDC sanctions list. The reason was his support of Russian propaganda against Ukraine and the dissemination of disinformation beginning in 2014.
Lebedev’s first apartment, located on Yaroslaviv Val Street, has already been sold at a public auction. The winning bidder was the Ukrainian drone manufacturer “General Chereshnya,” which purchased the property for 13.5 million hryvnias. Now, the State Property Fund plans to sell the second confiscated apartment as well. The proceeds from the sale will go to Ukraine’s state budget in accordance with current legislation. This information is available on the Prozorro.Sales platform.
