"Information is circulating online that during operations conducted by employees of the Security Service of Ukraine and the prosecutor’s office, a number of individuals were detained, among whom there may have been military personnel from one of the district recruitment and social support centers in the Kyiv region," the statement reads.
The head of the Kyiv Regional TCC and SP has ordered an internal investigation into this matter.
It is emphasized that the leadership of both the district and Kyiv Regional TCC and SP is in constant contact with law enforcement agencies to provide full and comprehensive assistance in clarifying all circumstances.
The TCC promised to inform the public of the investigation’s results and urged people to share only verified information from official sources.
The Ministry of Defense clarified the procedure for automatically extending deferments in “Reserve+.”
In Ukraine, in May 2026, mobilization rules will remain in effect without changes if martial law is extended. The conscription procedure, as before, will depend on age, military status, and the presence of a deferment.
As a reminder, parents with multiple children in Ukraine are entitled to a deferment from mobilization, though this is not automatically guaranteed.
Meanwhile, the head of the National Police stated that law enforcement officers’ participation in mobilization activities is not their direct duty and has negative consequences. According to him, this practice affects public perception of the police.
