In Kyiv, a Tesla driver caused a fatal accident on the Darnytskyi Bridge; a woman was killed
On the morning of April 29, a traffic accident occurred on the Darnytskyi Bridge in Kyiv, resulting in one fatality.
This was reported by the Kyiv Police Press Service.
The accident occurred around 7 a.m. According to preliminary data, the driver of a Tesla, traveling toward the right bank near the bridge exit, collided with a Suzuki and a Lanos traveling in the same direction.
As a result of the collision, a 63-year-old female passenger in the Lanos sustained severe injuries and died at the scene. The other people involved in the accident were not injured.
Police detained the Tesla driver in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. It has been preliminarily established that he was sober.
A criminal case has been opened regarding the accident under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine—violation of traffic safety rules resulting in the death of the victim.
The day before, a traffic accident involving two trucks and four passenger cars occurred on Highway M-07 near the village of Borodianka, resulting in five people being injured.
As a reminder, on April 25, a traffic accident occurred on Sobornosti Avenue in Kyiv after a wheel fell off one of the vehicles while it was moving.
