In Kyiv, a driver opened fire following a dispute with a pedestrian

A traffic dispute broke out in Kyiv, resulting in gunfire and a man being wounded. The suspected shooter has been detained, according to the Kyiv police.

According to law enforcement, the incident occurred between a driver and a pedestrian who was crossing the street in an unmarked area. The driver made a remark to him, after which a verbal altercation broke out between the men.

Subsequently, the driver pulled out a gun and fired several shots at the pedestrian. As a result, the Kyiv resident sustained injuries to his leg and back.

Police detained the shooter at the scene and seized a rubber bullet gun from him. The man has been notified of suspicion under the article on hooliganism. The investigation is ongoing.

Earlier, in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv, an unknown assailant opened fire on people. According to preliminary reports, one person was killed and others were injured.
