A Russian missile with a cluster warhead was found in Kyiv
Following Russia’s massive attack on Kyiv, bomb disposal experts discovered debris from a Russian X-69 missile with a cluster warhead in the Obolon district.
Some of the submunitions had not detonated and remained extremely dangerous.
During the inspection, experts identified 12 cluster submunitions that were still active. They were safely removed and handed over to State Emergency Service personnel for subsequent destruction at a special testing site. Debris from the missile’s casing was also collected.

The police emphasized that if suspicious or explosive objects are found, under no circumstances should anyone approach them or attempt to move them on their own—emergency services must be notified immediately.
