Emergency rescue operations at the damaged sites will continue at least until tomorrow. Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized Ukraine’s urgent need for an appropriate defense package, particularly anti-missile systems. According to the president, Norway had expressed its willingness to pay for 200 missiles for air defense systems, but none of them have been delivered to the country yet. The head of state added that to effectively intercept approximately 70 enemy ballistic missiles, Ukraine needs at least 140 Patriot missiles.
