Video: BMW driver punished in Kyiv for drunk drifting
In Kyiv, law enforcement officers charged a BMW driver who, while intoxicated, performed a dangerous drift on the road. Eyewitnesses captured the incident on video.
This was reported by the Kyiv Patrol Police.
While speaking with the driver, officers noticed clear signs of drug intoxication. The man flatly refused to undergo a medical examination as required by law.
Law enforcement officers determined that the driver had been stripped of his driving privileges by a court order but had not yet received a new driver’s license.
The patrol officers removed the man from driving and issued him:
- a report under Part 1 of Article 130 (Driving a vehicle while intoxicated) of the Code of Administrative Offenses;
- issued orders under Part 2 of Article 122 (Violation of traffic rules) and Part 2 of Article 126 (Driving a vehicle without the proper documents) of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
