Authorities explained the presence of heavy equipment near the park in Teremky, where trees were being cut down

In Kyiv’s Teremky neighborhood, work to remove trees has not resumed, despite the presence of heavy equipment and contractor workers near Teremky Park.

The Kyiv City State Administration stated that the agreement reached with the public on August 11 to suspend the removal of greenery remains in effect.

According to city officials, the presence of equipment at the site is related to organizational and logistical work as part of efforts to improve the capital’s energy resilience. Specifically, this involves the transportation and storage of pre-insulated pipelines.

The Kyiv City State Administration also emphasized that the movement of equipment and the presence of workers on the site do not in and of themselves mean that tree cutting has resumed.

Klitschko called for the prompt transfer of Gostiny Dvor to Kyiv’s ownership.

Earlier, Klitschko initiated the dismissal of Bakhmatov, the head of the Desnianskyi District State Administration.

The police have opened a criminal case against Bakhmatov, according to Starostenko.

The clinic on Lisova Street has remained damaged for the third consecutive year following a deadly Russian strike.
