Headline: Drunk Truck Driver Destroys 50 Meters of Guardrail in Kyiv
In Kyiv’s Holosiivskyi District, the driver of a Renault truck crashed into a metal guardrail on Stolychne Highway, damaging about 50 meters of the road barrier. No one was injured in the accident.
According to the patrol police, while speaking with the driver, officers noticed clear signs of alcohol intoxication. The man refused to undergo a sobriety test.
Three administrative citations were issued to the offender: for causing the accident, refusing a sobriety test, and driving without the proper documents. The final decision in the case will be made by the court.
Traffic is temporarily disrupted on Stolichne Highway due to repairs on a damaged guardrail.
