K-pop group BTS concluded the North American leg of its Arirang world tour with four concerts at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, United States. According to agency BigHit Music, approximately 1.92 million people attended 31 sold-out performances in 12 North American cities over five months, Korea Herald reports.

Final shows in Los Angeles

The four final concerts at SoFi Stadium drew approximately 282,000 spectators. They were also watched via the fan platform Weverse in 177 countries.

The North American tour itinerary included El Paso, Mexico City and New York, among other locations. All tickets for the 31 shows were sold in advance, the group’s agency said.

SoFi Stadium record

Including its 2021 concerts, BTS has performed a total of eight shows at SoFi Stadium — more than any other artist. The group’s combined audience at the venue amounted to about 496,000 people, a record in the stadium’s history.

During the tour, fans congratulated group members Jungkook and RM on their birthdays. The audience lit golden and blue lights — colors associated with the titles of Jungkook’s solo album Golden and RM’s Indigo.

During the performance of Body to Body from the fifth studio album Arirang, spectators sang along with the group and waved South Korean flags in unison to the melody of the folk song Arirang. After completing the North American concerts, BTS plans to continue the tour in South America: the first performance is scheduled for October 2 in Bogotá, followed by concerts in Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires and São Paulo.
