Gillian Anderson has stated that she identifies as pansexual
American actress Gillian Anderson, known for her roles in *The X-Files* and *Sex Education*, spoke about her sexual orientation. She identified as pansexual.
Anderson has previously spoken openly about her relationships with women. Back in 2012, the actress noted that she had been in romantic relationships with women. Now, in an interview with *The Australian*, she clarified that she uses the term “pan” to describe her orientation.
Pansexual people may experience romantic or sexual attraction to people regardless of their sex or gender identity.

The actress is currently in a relationship with playwright Peter Morgan. She is also raising three children from previous marriages.
Anderson has long been popular among the LGBTQ+ audience, particularly thanks to her roles as FBI agent Dana Scully in *The X-Files* and a sex therapist in the Netflix series *Sex Education*.
