Katseye reached No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart
The U.S.-based K-pop group Katseye debuted at No. 2 on the UK’s Official Albums Chart Top 100 with their mini-album *Wild*. This is the group’s best showing on the UK album chart. According to the Korea Herald, the release entered the chart, which was published on Friday, UK time.
*Wild* is Katseye’s third mini-album. It was released on August 14 and, according to the source, explores the acceptance of different facets of one’s “self,” as well as the search for instinct and freedom. Hybe CEO Bang Si-hyuk, British singer Ed Sheeran, and producers Omer Fedi and Blake Slatkin contributed to the album’s creation.
The group’s previous EP, *Beautiful Chaos*, released last year, reached No. 55 on the UK Albums Chart.

Three tracks from *Katseye* also made it into the Official Singles Chart Top 100. The pre-release single “Animal” climbed four spots to No. 12. The lead track from the new mini-album, “Hootie Frutti,” debuted at No. 16, while “Bel Air” entered at No. 97.
BTS’s fifth studio album, *Arirang*, reached No. 68 on the album chart and has remained on it for 22 consecutive weeks. On the singles chart, the song “Golden” from the original soundtrack of the Netflix animated film *K-Pop Demon Hunters* reached No. 46.
