Olga Sumska spoke about her relationship with her eldest daughter, who lives in Russia
Ukrainian actress Olga Sumska revealed that she stays in touch with her eldest daughter, Antonina Papernaya, who currently lives in Russia with her family.
Sumska spoke about this on the show "Alone with Glamour."
According to Sumska, her daughter will be celebrating her birthday soon, but the actress won’t be able to congratulate her in person. Despite this, they continue to communicate.
“How could a mother not communicate with her children? Maybe there are such examples, but not in our case. She is my own child,” noted Olga Sumskaya.
She added that her children remain the people closest to her, regardless of the circumstances, and wished her daughter health, inspiration, and resilience.
The actress also emphasized that she has no plans to meet with Antonina in person for the time being due to the lack of opportunity.
Separately, Sumska spoke for the first time about her grandchildren—Eva and Danil. She noted that the children are still young, but their resemblance to the family is already noticeable.
“They are my flesh and blood. They look like my first husband, Yevgen Paperny,” the actress said.
Antonina Papernaya moved to Russia even before the full-scale war began, where she lives with her husband, actor Vladimir Yaglich, and their children.
Earlier, Ukrainian actress Olga Sumska shared her emotions following the Russian Federation’s nighttime attack on Kyiv, which took place on the night of July 10. She called that night the most terrifying since the start of the full-scale invasion.
