In Israel, the song “Mada Bedyoni” (“Science Fiction”), performed by singer Eyal Golan, became the most frequently played song on radio during the year 5786 of the Hebrew calendar. The annual ranking was published by ACUM, an organization that protects the rights of composers, lyricists and publishers, The Jerusalem Post reports.

The ranking was compiled using data from the AcumOnAir monitoring system, which tracks broadcasts on 34 licensed national and regional radio stations in Israel. The song was written by Avi Ohayon, who also composed the music together with Idan Shneor and Matan Dror. Dror arranged the track.
