Nadiya Dorofeeva Has Regained Her Voice After a Hemorrhage in Her Vocal Cords
Ukrainian singer Nadiya Dorofeeva has broken her silence for the first time in over a week, which she had maintained due to a hemorrhage in her vocal cords. She is now able to speak, but has not yet returned to singing fully.
Dorofeeva updated her Telegram followers on her condition. In late August, due to voice problems, she was forced to cancel her scheduled concerts and take a break.
After more than a week of silence, doctors allowed the singer to speak again. However, her voice still sounds unusual, which initially even startled the artist herself.
“I started speaking. My first reaction was fear, because my voice didn’t sound the way I’m used to. It has neither depth nor overtones. It’s kind of high-pitched and doesn’t sound like mine. I’m a little hoarse,” Dorofeeva admitted.
The singer has already begun to gradually restore her vocal range. She plans to warm up with short sessions of about 15 minutes a day, but is avoiding strenuous exertion for now.
Dorofeeva emphasized that her treatment is still ongoing, and her return to her usual stage routine will take place gradually under the supervision of specialists.
