Celine Dion begins Paris concert series, Jay-Z marks 30-year career
In Paris, France, Celine Dion is beginning a series of 16 completely sold-out concerts at the La Défense Arena. American rapper Jay-Z is marking the 30th anniversary of his career with a performance at the Stade de France.

The programme also featured pianist Sofiane Pamart, who is set to become the first classical music performer to play at the Stade de France. He released a new album, “Movies”, and spoke with France 24 after a concert at the opening ceremony of the American Film Festival in Deauville.

The edition also featured music by Australian brother-and-sister duo Angus and Julia Stone, who returned with the album “Karaoke Bar”. British band Bloc Party is marking 25 years of its career with the new album “Anatomy of a New Romance”.
