Volodymyr Rashchuk talked about his diet after losing 40 kg
Actor and soldier Volodymyr Rashchuk, who lost 40 kilograms this year, spoke about his diet. According to him, in addition to regular workouts, dietary discipline plays an important role in staying in shape.
Rashchuk noted that he has been cooking for himself for about a year and a half and follows a simple diet.
“I don’t indulge in food these days. I live a bit like a monk (smiles). My daily ‘plate’ is always the same and simple: rice, pasta, potatoes, chicken, eggs, and vegetables. And that’s how I’ve been living for the past year and a half,” the actor said.
At the same time, he emphasizes that this kind of food isn’t boring to him at all, since he loves to cook and changes up the recipes every time.
“But it tastes great to me! Because I know how to cook well. Not just plain, bland food, but something different every time: sometimes Indian-style, sometimes with a touch of Japan,” noted Rashchuk.
The actor believes that about 80% of the results when losing weight depend specifically on a balanced diet. He monitors the ratio of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates and prefers home-cooked meals.
To stay in shape, Rashchuk brings pre-prepared meals with him to the set. According to him, he spends about half an hour in the evening preparing food for the next day. The actor also tries to work out about three times a week.
