Solomiya Vitvitska married a soldier; the wedding was in the Ukrainian style
Ukrainian TV host Solomiya Vitvitska officially married military officer Oleksiy Sytaylo on June 20.
The ceremony took place in Berehove, in the Zakarpattia region.
According to the TV host, it was a simple civil ceremony without a big celebration, but the event was extremely important to the couple.
“Although it was just a civil ceremony without any big festivities, it’s an important memory for us,” Vitvitska wrote.
The wedding was held in the Ukrainian style, and the bride’s look incorporated traditional elements.
The star chose a linen embroidered dress with swans embroidered on the sleeves, a braid with ribbons—as in ancient Ukrainian traditions—a bouquet of roses, and a necklace as an accessory.
“A traditional Ukrainian wedding look, with a braid and ribbons, just like our great-grandmothers used to wear,” the host noted.
The groom, Oleksiy Sytaylo, was dressed in a military uniform, which, according to Vitvitskaya, harmonized perfectly with her look.
The couple paid special attention to their wedding rings—they chose rings with small diamond hearts.
“Wedding rings with little diamond hearts—a symbol of our choice, our love, and our journey together,” the TV host explained.
Solomiya Vitvitskaya noted that the wedding day went exactly as she had imagined it, becoming a personal and symbolic event for the couple.
