Tom Holland Could Receive a Record-Breaking Paycheck for the New Spider-Man

British actor Tom Holland could become the highest-paid actor to play Spider-Man in the franchise's history. Following the successful release of the new Marvel film, his fee could reach $25 million.

According to the publication, if the projected earnings are confirmed, Tom Holland will set a new record among actors who have played Peter Parker.

Holland’s career in the Marvel Cinematic Universe began in 2016. Since then, his pay for playing Spider-Man has increased significantly:

  • his first appearance as Peter Parker — about $250,000;
  • *Spider-Man: Homecoming* — approximately $1.5 million;
  • *Spider-Man: Far From Home* — about $4 million;
  • *Spider-Man: No Way Home* — an estimated $10 million.

Now, according to British media reports, the new film could earn the actor up to $25 million.

By comparison, Andrew Garfield, according to media reports, received about $500,000 for the first Spider-Man movie and between $1 million and $2 million for the second installment.

Meanwhile, Tobey Maguire earned approximately $4 million for the first film and $17.5 million for the second installment.

Thus, Tom Holland has every chance of becoming the highest-paid actor among all those who have portrayed Spider-Man on the big screen.

This was reported by the Daily Mail.

The new joint project from Marvel and Sony, “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” has achieved impressive results at the global box office. In North America, the film grossed $355 million in its opening weekend, marking the second-largest opening in the U.S. after *Avengers: Endgame* ($357 million in 2019).

Sony Pictures Entertainment recently released the final trailer for the new installment, “Spider-Man: A Brand-New Day.” The story unfolds after Doctor Strange’s spell, which caused the world to forget about Peter Parker.

As a reminder, the star of “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” British actor Tom Holland, spoke for the first time about his struggle with alcohol addiction.

British actor Tom Holland mistakenly received a seven-figure bonus payment intended for Tom Holland for the film *Avengers*.
