TV host Lisa Glinska reacted emotionally to the heavy shelling of Kyiv
TV host and chef Liza Glinska shared an emotional post on social media following Russia’s massive nighttime attack on Kyiv. The “MasterChef” star admitted that she had a sleepless night due to the explosions and air defense operations, and spoke candidly about Russian aggression.
During the air raid alert, Lisa Glinska said that the constant explosions and the activity of the air defense forces left her feeling emotionally drained.
According to her, it felt as though Ukrainians were being deliberately targeted, and her own home seemed defenseless.
“Air defense is shooting down drones… Machine-gun fire… Explosions… Today, my mental state can’t take it anymore,” she wrote.
The TV host also asked her followers how they were coping with yet another night of Russian attacks.
After enduring the night, Liza Glinska published another post in which she strongly condemned Russian aggression and shared her emotions.
“Russians. I hate you with every fiber of my being. You have no right to exist. You are a cancer on Earth. You have stolen our lives,” the chef wrote.
She also noted that she would like the Russians to experience for themselves the fear and pain that Ukrainians endure every day because of the war.
Separately, Lisa Glinska addressed those who are advising her to leave Ukraine due to the constant Russian shelling.
“Please don’t write to me saying, ‘Leave.’ I’m home! Glory to Ukraine, its heroes, and the Ukrainian people! We are unbreakable!” the TV host emphasized.
The chef shared her experiences on Instagram.
As a reminder, on the night of October 22, Russian troops launched a massive attack on Ukraine using missiles and strike drones. One of the enemy drones struck a high-rise building where TV host and actress Iryna Khomenko lives.
